Connecting Flights

Baltia’s convenient evening departures from JFK allow passengers originating in New York to utilize most of their business day before flying, while enabling passengers from other U.S. cities and Canada to make easier connections at Kennedy, LaGuardia and Newark airports.

Our arrival in St. Petersburg is scheduled for 9:30 AM sharp which gives our passengers adequate time to clear customs, check into a hotel and still have part of the day available for leisure or business activities. This also affords our customers more time if they are making further connections.

Likewise, by leaving St. Petersburg at 12:00 PM sharp, our flight will arrive at JFK at 1:30 PM, giving passengers more time to make connections throughout the United States as well as Canada.

Traveling Minors

Baltia accepts as passengers minors between the ages of 5 and 17 who are flying without a parent or guardian provided the following conditions are met: a parent or guardian must accompany the minor to the departure airport and proper arrangements must be made to meet the minor upon arrival. All contact information must also be provided and verified before the flight. Baltia will not accept unaccompanied children less than 5 years of age.

As standard procedure to help ensure the minor’s safety, Baltia’s check-in agent will notify the Chief Steward of the flight and other relevant station personnel at departure and arrival airports of the special circumstances. A Steward will then be personally assigned to oversee the minor during the flight and will hand over the minor to the responsible agent upon landing, who in turn will accompany the minor until he or she meets his or her parent or guardian. In the event that no one shows up to meet the minor, he or she will remain with the Baltia agent until proper arrangements are made.

Please advise Baltia Reservations when purchasing a ticket for an unaccompanied minor.

We strive to take extra special care of our elderly passengers. Please tell Reservations of any unique needs or concerns when booking a flight.

Handicap Assistance

Baltia can also provide for the special needs of handicapped passengers, as well as those who have medical conditions or who are pregnant. If you require special consideration or assistance, please advise our Reservations agent.

Dietary Preferences

While we would love to serve every one of our passengers our gourmet menu that makes crossing the Atlantic more of a treat than a trip, we fully recognize that certain people have certain dietary restrictions and preferences. Therefore, we also offer low-calorie and vegetarian menus. Please indicate your food preferences when making a reservation.

Flying With Your Pet

Pets are passengers too. With Baltia, you can easily take your beloved pet with you on vacation or a business trip. And if you are a member of our Freeloaders Club, you can pay your pet’s fare with your accumulated miles. Pet fares are a percentage of a corresponding Voyager Class fare: 
A dog = 12% and a cat = 10%.

Baltia provides appropriate arrangements for transporting pets and other animals safely and comfortably. But until the day when animals can speak for themselves, we rely on their caring masters to tell us their special needs. Please check with Reservations for requirements and restrictions on animal transport.
